Tom Brady fired a late touchdown strike to Aaron Hernandez and the New England Patriots defense forced a Matt Flynn fumble on the final play of the game to seal a 31-27 win.
Early in the contest, it looked like Flynn was channelling Green Bay starter Aaron Rodgers, as he connected on a pair of touchdown strikes in the first half to put the Packers up 17-14.
But, the Pats would pick off Flynn's first pass of the second half and re-take the lead, only for the untested backup to rally the troops again to take a 27-21 lead early in the fourth quarter.
Unfortunately for Green Bay, that was when Tom Brady went to work. After struggling to penetrate the Packers' vaunted defense for most of the night, Brady started to find his rhythm in the fourth quarter, leading the Pats to a field goal early and a touchdown midway through the period to take a 31-27 lead. The defense would finish the job from there, forcing Flynn's game-ending fumble.
Brady finished with 163 yards and two touchdowns; not his best game, but plenty good enough to get the win. The Patriots have won five straight, and Brady hasn't thrown a pick since Week 6. He set the NFL record for most pass attempts between interceptions Sunday night as well.
