Voodoo priest Owen Coyle planted things in pitch before Bolton win

Sky Sports caught Bolton manager/possible god Owen Coyle alone on the Reebok Stadium pitch before his side beat Blackburn 2-1 on Sunday thanks to a fantastic late goal from Stu Holden while a man down. The puzzled Sky team collectively turned their heads to the side as they watched Coyle appear to bury something in the ground with a spoon inside each goal. Was it superstition? A ritual? Some kind of James Bondish electronic device?!

Whatever it is, it's working. Bolton now sit in sixth place, one point behind Spurs, and with just one home loss.

Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti is silently wandering around the pitch at Stamford Bridge, burying iPads and snoods with a soup ladle ahead of Sunday's match against Man United.
