DTotD: Montpellier defender uses double elbow attack

A 0-0 match can shred the nerves of a defender trying to play mistake-free so as not to be the one responsible for allowing that deciding goal. They will do whatever it takes to preserve their side's clean sheet -- even if it means launching a wicked elbow attack on anyone who might pose a threat.

Montpellier defender Emir Spahic proved this during his side's 0-0 draw against Brest on Saturday when he cleared room for his goalkeeper to collect the ball as Nolan Roux charged in on them by hurling his body backwards and using his elbows to nail Roux in the head. And it worked! Spahic wasn't booked for the maneuver, thus proving this to be a viable technique for future generations.
