Brett Favre has had a rough year to say the least. He's been injured and he's had to deal with plenty of scandal this year as the entire saga with Jenn Sterger has unfolded in front of him and the entire world.
There's been a long, drawn out investigation into his conduct when the two were working with the New York Jets. Favre allegedly sent crude text messages and left voicemails for Sterger that were leaked to Deadspin earlier this year.
The investigation has taken longer than anyone has thought and there has been a lot of speculation about this and what the end result would be. There was talks of a possible suspension under the personal conduct policy. However, it has come out from multiple reports that Favre will be fined and not suspended for his actions.
That's really not shocking. Did anyone honestly think the NFL would suspend Favre for what should be the last game of his career?
