Some freak out over size difference; Team Pacquiao doesn't bat an eye

Manny Pacquiao is getting used to the David versus Goliath look at his weigh-ins. He's been the smaller fighter in his last five fights (David Diaz, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey). All five turned out to be easy victories, so it wasn't shocking to hear "Pac-Man" blow off what could be a size difference of 20 pounds tonight in Dallas. Pacquiao wasn't even close to the 150-pound limit for the fight, weighing in at 144.6.

"We trained against bigger guys in camp," Pacquiao said. "With our strategy, we are not worried about the size."

His trainer Freddie Roach was even more blunt.

"We trained against bigger guys in camp," Pacquiao said. "With our strategy, we are not worried about the size."

"Size doesn't win fights, skill does, and we outweigh them in that department. This will not be a difficult fight for us at all."

Before this fight, the usually subdued Pacquiao (51-3-2, 38 KOs) has spoken with a different level of bravado.

"I am ready," the 5-foot-6 Pacquiao said. "My speed is my advantage. It will be a good fight. Only the outcome is not in doubt."

The 5-11 Margarito (38-6, 27 KOs) will also have a six inch reach advantage.
