Kaka is intensely happy to be back

Kaka played his first match of the season for Real Madrid on Monday, coming on as a 76th minute substitute in their 3-2 win over Getafe. He said after the match that there were points in his recovery from his August knee surgery when he wasn't sure he would play again. So, as you can probably imagine (and see above), he was all smiles. Even more than usual. Lots and lots of smiles. Seriously he just kept smiling.

Here are a bunch of pictures of him smiling.

At first, like a little kid who just drank 12 Red Bulls and had a seizure watching Japanese anime, the excitement of being back was all a bit too much for him. Surrounded by flashbulbs as he went to take his seat on the bench, his eyes very nearly popped out of his head.

Once he sat down, he smiled so big that he couldn't close his mouth.

Then he gave a patented Mourinho wink, for which he will owe his manager approximately €37.

Then he smiled some more.

Then he smiled and waved as he warmed up.

Then it was time to enter the match. And that...that was serious business.

Serious business. Holding off invisible defenders.

And then, it was over. Kaka walked off with his arm around Derek Owusu Boateng because he belongs to Jesus and he makes friends wherever he goes.

Finally, it was time for the post-match press conference. And he smiled there, too. Because Kaka is happy.
