Not surprising, then, that Sunday's was typically short.
Caldwell, entering his second post-season as the Colts' head coach, said winning a seventh AFC South title in eight seasons - and qualifying for an NFL record-tying ninth consecutive playoff appearance - was indeed an accomplishment, what's next is more important.
What's next? An AFC Wild Card game in Indianapolis Saturday.
The opponent? The New York Jets.
"I do know for a fact there was one guy over here watching film already last night after the game was over with getting ready for the next opponent," Caldwell said Monday, a day after the Colts clinched the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoffs with a 23-20 victory over the Tennessee Titans.
Added Caldwell, "That's typically how it works around here. They celebrate rather quickly and then focus in on the next challenge, and we have a big one ahead of us this weekend."
