Ten College Football Players Are Unanimous All-Americans

According to the NCAA, a unanimous All-American football player is one who is named to the first-team of the All-America teams from the five outlets that vote for All-America teams: Associated Press, "The Sporting News," American Football Coaches Association, Walter Camp Foundation and the Football Writers Association of America.

Noteworthy is that only one Heisman Trophy finalist was a unanimous selection, because three of the finalists were quarterbacks and Cam Newton was not the first-team selection for the FWAA All-America team.

In 2010, there were 10 players who were unanimous All-Americans.

Here are the 10 players:

o. Prince Amukamara, Cornerback, Nebraska

o. Justin Blackmon, Wide Receiver, Oklahoma State

o. Da'Quan Bowers, Defensive End, Clemson

o. Gabe Carimi, Offensive Tackle, Wisconsin

o. Rodney Hudson, Offensive Guard, Florida State

o. LaMichael James, Running Back, Oregon

o. Greg Jones, Linebacker, Michigan State

o. Ryan Kerrigan, Defensive End, Purdue

o. Luke Kuechly, Linebacker, Boston College

o. Patrick Peterson, Cornerback, LSU
