Sal Alosi: Suspended Indefinitely Over New Information, What's Next?

Sal Alosi may be looking for a new job very shortly, and with the way this story is going, he may not be the only one looking for a new job after the season.

Breaking news out of New York is that Alosi has been suspended indefinitely now by the Jets after "new information" suggested Alosi instructed players to form a wall on the sideline during a punt return.  A group of inactive Jets players can be seen, along with Alosi, standing together to form a line at the edge of the white line in the picture.

Head Coach Rex Ryan claims he knew nothing of the actions that led to the tripping incident, but this smacks of a cover up in the sense that for Ryan to claim ignorance about what his coaches are doing on the sidelines is kind of ludicrous.

While Ryan definitely has other things on his mind during a game, it's hard to believe that was the first time Alosi and the inactive players stood like that on the sideline, and if Ryan didn't know that before, then there's something wrong there.

This investigation is going to widen, and more people are going to lose their jobs as more information comes to light. It also has the chain reaction of affecting game preparation, which could mean the Jets collapse will continue.
