LeBron James is in New York for the first time as a member of the Heat to take on the Knicks.
Historically, James has always played well in Madison Square Garden and up until this season he had been pretty well respected by the home crowd. This game is different though. Everytime James has touched the ball so far he has been littered with boos by the New York faithful.
James has, however, continued his good play in the Garden. At the end of the first quarter he had 14 points and five assists. More importantly, the Heat opened up a nine point lead over the Knicks.
