Slap fight!
The winter freeze is setting in and it's hardening teammates against each other. Lu-Lu-Lu Lukas Podolski is kicking out at his comrades, Boca Juniors players are knocking each others' earrings out of their heads (different hemisphere, but still...), and now even the tight-knit group at Manchester City had a little training-ground scuffle of their own.
Mario Balotelli took exception to a Jerome Boateng tackle in Friday's session, causing the pair to go after each other like two guys trying to swat bees off of each other. But then it got real...
Choke hold! He's going for his finishing move! Or he's applying pressure to a snake bite. Might be a snake bite...
Manager Roberto Mancini tries to calm Balotelli by attempting to dislocate his shoulder. Balotelli obviously does not appreciate this tactic.
Finally, Balotelli and Boateng hug and make up. As they do, Balotelli stares into the distance with a dead-eyed seriousness that actually makes his skull and crossbone gloves look mildly intimidating.
