NFL Draft 2011 Rumors Highlight J.J. Watt as a Possible Future Titan
J.J. Watt seems to be an interesting prospect in this draft. Giving you full disclosure, he isn?t one of my favorite prospects. I think he is actually quite overrated but most draft experts have him rated as a top-10 pick and they get paid to do talent evaluating for a reason.
ESPN?s Scout Inc. thinks that the fact that what make Watt an exceptional prospect is how well rounded he is.
"[Watt's] overall awareness is exceptional. Finds the ball and keeps his head on a swivel. Shows outstanding anticipation. No defensive lineman in this class does a better job of getting his hands up and affecting the quarterbacks' throwing lane. Is absolutely relentless. Tremendous motor."
I think Watt would probably be a good fit in Tennessee. The Titans need a good pass rushing defensive end and Watt would be a solid addition.
However, I think they should only turn to Watt if they miss out on a top-flight quarterback or if some of they have no other options that make sense.
