Kenny Dalglish has had enough of the romance, talks facts

Liverpool legend/presumed faith healer Kenny Dalglish has taken over as manager of the club, putting an end to Roy Hodgson's face-rubbing reign of terror. While Liverpool fans joyously sing You'll Never Walk Alone until their throats burn and pass around "King Kenny Returns" banners, King Kenny himself would like everyone to kindly put the blind optimism aside so he can get down to business.

From the Telegraph:

“We have to manage expectations,” said Dalglish. “At the moment it is a wee bit romantic, isn’t it?

“The romance is brilliant, for me to be back, and for some of the supporters as well. But this game is not built on romance, it’s built on hard facts. The hard facts of the matter is that we have to start winning games. Once we get the romantics out of the road, we can get to work. This club has never been about the individual, it’s about the collective.”

Wait a minute. Facts? A Liverpool manager talking about facts at a press conference? Oh dear. It's been less than a week and Kenny is already as loony as Rafa Benitez. It's only a matter of time new before he starts talking about white liquids and priests standing on sugar

Granted, Dalglish is absolutely right, but still...consider this your warning, Liverpool fans.
