Even the cops at Barca’s victory parade can’t hide their support

Barcelona wasted no time in holding their victory parade the day after their 3-1 Champions League final win over Manchester United at Wembley. Probably because they have a Shakira concert to attend on Monday (Update: The Shakira concert they attended was actually later Sunday night).

Hordes of supporters lined the streets of the city as the team made their now very familiar open-topped bus trip. With the Champions League and La Liga trophies safely mounted at the front of the bus and out of the hands of the players so as to avoid becoming the latest victim of this season's trophy dropping epidemic, even the police charged with making sure things ran smoothly couldn't help but show off their fanboy status.

Once the buses stopped, the team got out at a packed Camp Nou to give a few speeches and celebrate some more. Here are a few more pictures from the festivities...

Another officer holds his son (who, despite appearances, is not Lionel Messi).

Puyol sprays what I hope is some kind of beverage on the crowd.

Messi holds the Champions League trophy. Which is big enough to be his house.
