Carlos Tevez is back home in Argentina, where he recently took his two young daughters with him in an appearance on the Susana Gimenez show. And what did the captain of Manchester City football club talk about? How awful he thinks the city of Manchester is, of course.
From the Telegraph:
"I don't have any new friends," said poor Carlos. "I am always with my family and lifelong friends. I don't even leave my house. I'm the stay-at-home type.
When pressed by Gimenez on what was wrong with the City, Tevez offered: "The weather, everything. It has nothing."
"There is nothing to do in Manchester. The problem is I'm still speaking very poor English.
"When I finish my contract I will not return to Manchester ever - not even on holiday."
How does he know what there is to do in Manchester if he admits to never leaving his house? And why doesn't he spend all that time at home learning English now that he's been in England for five years?
You have to wonder what he was thinking in saying these things on television. Either this is his way of forcing City to sell him or he thinks that everyone in England has the same understanding of his language as he does of theirs.
