Dulko upsets Stosur, sends message to newborn niece and nephew

Though Gisela Dulko had an early match Friday morning at the French Open against 2010 finalist and No. 8 seed Sam Stosur, the unseeded 26-year-old didn't go to bed early on Thursday night. She stayed up, waiting by the phone until the late hours of the night waiting on word from Argentina about the arrival of her twin niece and nephew.

When the good news finally came in, Dulko went to sleep, then was able to channel the excitement over the new arrivals into her play the next morning, rolling to a 4-0 lead over Stosur and holding on for an upset 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 victory. Afterward, Dulko grabbed a towel from her bag and held it up to TV cameras. It contained a message to the hours-old twins.

The towel reads: "For Myla and Teo. It was worth it. Love them."

Dulko plays Marion Bartoli next with a spot in the French Open quarterfinals on the line.
