UFC 133 FIght Card: Tito Ortiz Set to Face Rashad Evans in Main Event

Tito Ortiz has changed his mind and will square off in the Octagon for a second time with Rashad Evans in the 'City of Brotherly Love', Philadelphia PA. Ortiz is coming off an explosive first-round submission of Ryan Bader two weeks ago.

MMAJunkie.com broke the news of Tito signing on for that fight. Tito had originally said that he wanted to refocus and come into a big fight like this more prepared. However, he decided to jump on the opportunity later today and will now meet Evans in the main event of UFC 133.

Ortiz's submission of Bader was his first victory since beating Ken Shamrock for a third time in 2006. Ortiz had to beg for the Bader fight and came into the arena a 5 to 1 underdog. He defied the odds by rocking Bader with a right hand and then putting him out with a guillotine choke in a stunning upset.

Ortiz and his fans were elated. Tito was the former UFC light heavyweight champion in the first days of Zuffa ownership and built the UFC brand along with Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell.

Ortiz had problems in the past with UFC president Dana White but in recent years they have developed a much better working relationship. If Tito wins this fight he could even be looking at a new contract. The UFC 133 main event is back and better than ever.
