Borussia Dortmund use bus trips to film trick shot videos

Bus rides are boring, even when you have a 12-point lead in the Bundesliga. That fact combined with the requirement that every person, club and business in the world film what they hope will become a viral YouTube megahit video, has led Borussia Dortmund to the clip you see above.

With the team hurtling down the highway on their bus, they pass around a camera as midfielder Nuri Sahin and goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller approach the coach's open doors. It happens quick, but when the bus goes under an overpass, Sahin kicks a ball out of the door at the front of the bus and off the wall of the overpass so it bounces back through the rear door and into Weidenfeller's waiting hands.

It seems simple enough to have been something they actually pulled off without computer trickery, but who knows anymore. Real or not, it certainly went better than the first attempt when backup goalkeeper Johannes Focher attempted a diving catch out of the door and was subsequently run over by a speeding Vespa. That was a mistake.
