Sergio Ramos holds patched up Copa del Rey without dropping it

The Copa del Rey lives! After Sergio Ramos dropped it under a moving bus, Real Madrid had to put a replica of the trophy on display, but now the original is all fixed up It was ready to be presented at Madrid's City Hall, the headquarters of the Government of Madrid and at Madrid Cathedral on Wednesday.

Risking another disaster, Sergio Ramos was actually allowed to hold the trophy again, though it appears Iker Casillas was ordered to keep his far more expert hands on it whenever Ramos touched it. And perhaps because of that, the trophy made it through the day without any further trauma.

Another photo and video of Madrid's mayor pretending to drop the cup as Ramos holds on right this way...

Jose Mourinho seems distracted as The Ramos gets a little cocky about his newfound trophy holding abilities. Meanwhile, Florentino Perez gets handsy and Karim Benzema impersonates...The Continental.

In the video, Ramos jokes about holding the trophy extra tight -- a trick he probably should have tried while on the bus.
