Pascal vs. Hopkins 2: Round-by-Round Updates and Results for Tonight's Fights

Former Undisputed World Middleweight Champion Bernard Hopkins will make his second attempt at trying to become the oldest boxer to ever win a major world title when he faces Canadian star Jean Pascal for the second time later tonight on HBO.

Hopkins (52-5-2, 32 KO) already has achieved all-time great status, holding the record for most middleweight title defenses at 20. Pascal (26-1-1, 16 KO) would hope to achieve a record as incredible as that, but he has to make it through the 46-year-old first.

There has been no shortage of trash talk leading up to the fight, and both fighters are prepared to back it up. Their first fight ended in a controversial draw, and both fighters felt they had done enough to earn the decision.

The event will be broadcast from The Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It will kick off at 10 p.m ET with an undercard bout between Chad Dawson and Adrian Diaconu.

Dawson (29-1) and Diaconu (27-2) have a combined three defeats, all of which are against Pascal. Both will be looking to take on the winner of the main event.

I will be posting round-by-round results for both bouts as well as results from the United Kingdom show from the 02 Arena featuring a grudge match between James DeGale (10-0) and George Groves (12-0) and a light-heavyweight title bout between Nathan Cleverly (21-0) and Aleksy Kuziemski (21-2).
