I'm starting to think this one is going to go to Jorge Arce because he's making Vazquez fight his fight. This is what a veteran can do with a younger fighter. So far he's dictating the pace and it's working for Arce. But Vazquez is fighting back.
Now he drops Arce and the tide is starting to Vazquez is taking command. Still this has been a great fight so far. The kind of fight that Top Rank should be giving the fans every time. There's no reason to charge fans for a big fight and then give them crummy under-cards. This is an action fight with two good fighter giving it their all and that's what fight fans deserve. Even if Vazquez knocks Arce out the fans will still get their money back on this one.
This makes two good fights so far tonight with the headliner still to come. A very good night of boxing so far.
